YIN YOGA
Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Friday from 10:00 to 11:30
Friday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Yin Yoga is a gentle, meditative practice that combines yoga, Taoist wisdom, and Chinese medicine. A calm, meditative yoga that immerses us in a deep awareness of the body and breath. A true invitation to slow down, refocus, and let go.
If you feel tense and blocked in your body, Yin Yoga will be a transformative practice because you will not only work with muscle stretches, but will target the fascia.
Fascia is the connective tissue that envelops and connects muscles, organs, and bones. Working with it in Yin Yoga helps release deep tension, improve mobility, and promote better circulation.
By adopting specific body postures for an extended period of time, we can bring about a real change in the autonomic system, an effect that is not possible in our often overly hectic modern lives. We move from this frustrating state of being both tired and stressed to a space of recovery and regeneration.
